Meet the School Council

We have an active school council made up of representatives from our KS2 classes. Our Head Boy and Head Girl have an automatic place on the school council.

School Council Events

Friday 17th March - Red Nose Day Cake Sale

The children in the school council organised a cake sale and own clothes day in support of Red Nose Day. They were very busy at breaktime and at the end of the school day as business was brisk. In total, they raised an amazing £196.65.

Friday 31st March 2023 - Easter Bonnet Parade

The School Council supported Mrs Kavanagh in judging the Easter Bonnet Competition and presenting awards to the winners.

Tuesday 18th April 2023 - Meeting 

The school council met with Maria McNulty from the Health Improvement Team to discuss the 5 Pillars to Wellbeing Award. This is something they are working towards achieving.

Wednesday 9th October 2024 - Meeting

General meeting to introduce new members and discuss roles.

Discussed fund raising events and competitions

Autumn Term 1 2025

The School Council led an assembly to introduce themselves and to explain what their roles were.

Autumn Term 2 2025

School Council helped to organise a Christmas Movie night and raised over £200 for school funds.

Spring Term 1 2026 - Meeting

Discussed upcoming events and fundraising opportunities including World Book Day, Easter and Red Nose Day.
